John Bryan State Park Campground is located in a 752-acre park distinguished by its remarkable limestone gorge, a National Natural Landmark cut by the Little Miami State and National Scenic River. The campground offers 61 sites total, including 52 non-electric sites and 9 electric sites, plus 2 group campsites. The shaded campground is designed primarily for tents and smaller to mid-sized RVs, accommodating vehicles up to 40 feet in length. The park surrounds Clifton Gorge and offers 10 diverse hiking trails with splendid views of the gorge's dramatic limestone formations. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy rock climbing, rappelling, and river access for paddling from a launch area outside the park. The campground provides modern amenities including flush restrooms, drinking water, picnic tables, fire rings, and a dump station. A group camping area with two Adirondack shelters is available for organized groups. Open year-round, John Bryan attracts visitors in every season with its breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife, including over 90 varieties of birds. The park is conveniently located just five miles from Yellow Springs, offering easy access to nearby attractions while maintaining a peaceful natural setting along the scenic river.

Directions

From the junction of State Routes 343 and 370, head south on SR-370 for approximately 1 mile to reach the campground entrance.
