John Bryan Campground

About

John Bryan State Park Campground provides a solid base camp for exploring southwestern Ohio's gorge country. The 61-site campground sits along the Little Miami River near the village of Yellow Springs. Nine sites offer 30-amp electric hookups and tend to book quickly, while the remaining 52 non-electric sites are more heavily shaded. All sites include picnic tables and fire rings with good spacing and level, paved pads. The campground features a modern shower house with flush toilets and hot showers, plus a dump station with two service bays. Potable water is available during the main season but shut off during winter months. A playground keeps younger campers entertained. The park's main draw is its trail system connecting to Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve, where the Little Miami has carved dramatic limestone cliffs. An 18-hole disc golf course provides another recreation option. Yellow Springs, a quirky arts-oriented village, sits just minutes away with restaurants, shops, and the entrance to Glen Helen Nature Preserve.

Directions

From Yellow Springs, take US-68 south approximately 2 miles. Turn right onto State Route 370 and continue 1 mile to the park entrance on the left.
