About

Located within Caesar Creek State Park in Warren County, Ohio, the Caesar Creek Equestrian Camp provides a rustic base for horseback riders exploring the park's extensive trail system. The campground offers 25 primitive, non-electric sites available exclusively on a first-come, first-served basis. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring, while the campground provides tie rails and picket posts for securing horses. The facility includes a shelter house and pit latrines for camper convenience. Wells provide non-potable water for horses, but campers should bring their own drinking water. The campground serves as the trailhead for five bridle trails that wind through the park's 3,741 acres, offering riders access to over 37 miles of trails through varied terrain including open meadows, forests, and steep ravines adjacent to Caesar Creek Lake. The location on Furnas-Oglesby Road off State Route 73 provides easy access for horse trailers. Day use parking is available for riders who wish to access the trails without camping. A separate horse group camp is also available nearby by reservation through the park office.
