Levels of ozone within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards. On Alert days, help reduce ozone by taking the following actions: * Carpool, if possible, bike, walk or take the bus instead of driving alone. * Refuel your vehicle after 8 pm. * Do not idle your vehicle, exhaust contributes to air pollution. * Mow your lawn in the evening hours and avoid the use of gas-powered lawn equipment. About
Caesar Creek State Park Group Camps provide several designated overnight group camping areas scattered around the south end of Caesar Creek Lake in Warren County, Ohio. The park offers multiple options to suit different group needs: Fifty Springs, Hickory Overlook, and Cedar Point group camps are located off State Route 73 in the Fifty Springs Picnic area, each featuring a shelter with picnic tables, a fire ring, and flush toilets but no electric or water. Wellman Meadows Group Camp sits near the boat ramp off Oregonia Road with similar amenities. The Day Lodge Group Camp near Hopewell on Middletown Road is the most primitive option, offering no bathroom or water facilities. For equestrian groups, the Horse Group Camp near the Horseman's Campground on Furnas-Oglesby Road welcomes horses and includes a pit latrine, picnic table, and fire ring. All group camps operate on a reservation-only basis through the Park Office. The surrounding park offers extensive recreation including boating, fishing for crappie and muskie, water skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and archery across more than 50 miles of trails. The main campground and Horseman's Camp are separate facilities with different amenities and reservation systems.
