Situated on a bluff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in Wellfleet, Sunrise House is a four-bedroom, one and one-half bathroom vacation home that sleeps ten guests. The property offers spectacular sunrise views each morning from its large deck, which is furnished with patio furniture and a propane grill. Guests will find themselves within walking distance of the public beach and minutes from ocean beaches, freshwater ponds, hiking trails, and the charming village of Wellfleet. The home is fully equipped with modern amenities including WiFi, washer and dryer, and a complete kitchen with microwave, oven, range, coffeemaker, toaster, dishwasher, and all necessary cookware and utensils. Sleeping arrangements include one king bed, two queen beds, and four twin beds. Pillows, quilts, and fans are provided, though guests must bring their own bedsheets and towels. The house features a flat-screen television with Blu-Ray player and is heated for year-round comfort. The location provides easy access to Cape Cod National Seashore's forty miles of pristine sandy beaches, marshes, ponds, and uplands. A 1.5-mile trail leads to Duck Pond, and miles of walking and biking paths wind through pine forests, across dunes, and alongside freshwater ponds. The seashore protects diverse wildlife including over 450 species of amphibians, reptiles, fish, birds, and mammals. Historic lighthouses, cultural landscapes, and wild cranberry bogs offer glimpses into Cape Cod's maritime heritage.
Directions
245 Pilgrim Road, Wellfleet MA, 02667. From Route 6 turn east onto Lecount Hollow Road. At the end of Lecount Hollow Road, turn left onto Ocean View Drive. After 0.3 miles, turn right onto Pilgrim Road. Follow Pilgrim Road approximately 400 ft, then turn left onto Cliff Road. The house is the first on the left.
