Air Quality Alert issued July 3 at 1:34AM EDT by NWS Boston/Norton MA
The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection has issued an Air Quality Alert for Ground Level Ozone, from 11 AM this morning to 11 PM EDT this evening. An Air Quality Alert day means that Ground Level Ozone concentrations within the region may approach or exceed levels that are Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups. Air is unhealthy for sensitive children and adults, such as those with asthma, lung or heart disease, and older adults. Sensitive children and adults should limit prolonged outdoor activity. Highland Beach Suites Unit 3 is a fully-equipped vacation rental located within Cape Cod National Seashore near Truro, Massachusetts. This recently renovated two-bedroom, one-bathroom unit sleeps four and is part of a three-unit triplex. Coast Guard Beach, consistently rated as a top family beach, is a quick five-minute walk from the property. The unit features a kitchen with a 4-burner electric stove/oven, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, and propane BBQ grill. An in-unit washer/dryer and flat-screen TV are provided. Drinking water is supplied via 5-gallon jugs, while tap water is suitable for cooking and cleaning. Guests must bring their own sheets, bath towels, and beach towels. The surrounding area offers exceptional recreation: miles of trails through pine forests and sandy dunes, freshwater ponds, historic lighthouses, and the charming village of Provincetown with its galleries, bookstores, and restaurants. Over 450 species of wildlife call the seashore home, and whale and seal watching are available nearby.
