Widespread rain and freezing rain will continue into the overnight hours...but should come to an end toward daybreak. However...residual moisture, light winds and the cold ground from our recent weather will be favorable for the formation of black ice. This may also be accompanied by some freezing fog too. Motorists traveling early Wednesday morning should allow extra time to reach their destination and be prepared for black ice. Untreated walkways and parking lots may also become very slippery for pedestrians. Temperatures should rise above freezing by mid- late Wednesday morning alleviating any black ice issues.

Highland Beach Suites, Unit 2 is a renovated one-bedroom, one-bathroom rental unit managed by the National Park Service within Cape Cod National Seashore in Truro, Massachusetts. Part of a three-unit triplex property, this accommodation sleeps two guests and sits approximately 1,000 feet from Coast Guard Beach, with direct access to the area's extensive network of hiking and biking trails. The unit is fully equipped for comfortable self-catering stays with a full kitchen including a four-burner electric stove and oven, microwave, coffeemaker, and all necessary cooking and dining utensils. An in-unit washer and dryer is provided, along with a propane BBQ grill. The property includes a flat-screen TV (guests must provide their own USB connection), table top fans, and access to an outdoor storage shed for bicycles and beach equipment. Five-gallon water jugs are provided for drinking, as tap water is safe for cooking and bathing but not recommended for consumption. Guests should be aware that sheets and towels are not provided, there is no outdoor shower, and cell phone reception is limited (though a landline is available for local and emergency calls). The property strictly prohibits pets, smoking, and vaping. Parking is limited to two spaces per unit. All reservations require a five-night minimum stay, a $250 refundable security deposit, and completion of a leasing agreement. Peak season rates are $170 per night, with non-peak rates at $136 per night.

From Route 6 in North Truro, take Highland Road east towards the ocean. After approximately 1 mile, turn left onto Coast Guard Road. Highland Beach Suites, Unit 2 is located within the triplex on the right side of the road.
