Air Quality Alert issued July 3 at 1:34AM EDT by NWS Boston/Norton MA
The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection has issued an Air Quality Alert for Ground Level Ozone, from 11 AM this morning to 11 PM EDT this evening. An Air Quality Alert day means that Ground Level Ozone concentrations within the region may approach or exceed levels that are Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups. Air is unhealthy for sensitive children and adults, such as those with asthma, lung or heart disease, and older adults. Sensitive children and adults should limit prolonged outdoor activity. The Ocean View House offers a unique opportunity to stay within Cape Cod National Seashore in a well-appointed vacation home overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. This one-bedroom, one-bathroom property features a queen bed in the bedroom and a full-size futon in the lower-level living area, comfortably sleeping up to four guests. The home includes a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, oven, range, coffeemaker, toaster, dishwasher, and all necessary cookware and utensils. The property's standout feature is its large ocean-view deck with a propane grill and patio furniture, perfect for watching sunrises over the Atlantic. The public beach is a very short walk away. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with Blu-Ray player, washer and dryer, pillows, quilts, and fans. Guests must bring their own bed sheets and towels. Nearby recreation includes hiking to Duck Pond via a 1.5-mile trail, miles of biking trails through pine forests and sandy dunes, historic lighthouses, and wildlife viewing opportunities with over 450 species calling the seashore home. The village of Wellfleet offers shopping, dining, and cultural attractions.
