About

Sullivan Lake Campground is a peaceful 11-site state forest campground located in the Finland State Forest of Lake County, Minnesota. Situated about 26 miles north of Two Harbors and roughly seven miles from Lake Superior's North Shore, the campground offers a rustic camping experience on the shores of Sullivan Lake. The naturally-surfaced campsites are spread along the forested shoreline, providing scenic views of the lake from a wooded setting. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. The campground features vault toilets and a hand-pumped well for drinking water. A carry-in boat launch provides access to Sullivan Lake for fishing and paddling. There are no hookups or showers. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis at $17 per night. The road serving the campsites has a tight turnaround circle at the end, making shorter vehicles more practical. One ADA-accessible campsite, toilet, and well are available.
