...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 7 PM MONDAY FOR THE NORTHEAST HIGHLANDS DUE TO STRONG WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY... .Critical fire weather conditions will develop Monday across the Northeast Highlands along and east of the I-25 corridor from Ribera to Las Vegas to Raton. Strong southwest winds and low humidity will allow any fire that starts to spread rapidly. The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Red Flag Warning...which is in effect from 11 AM to 7 PM MST Monday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect. * AREA AND TIMING...This includes the Northeast Highlands (Zone 123) from 11 AM to 7 PM Monday. * 20 FOOT WINDS...Southwest 20 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Minimum values between 9 and 14 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
