About

Stevens Lake Campground is a small, peaceful destination in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest's Eagle River-Florence District. Situated on the shores of the 300-acre Stevens Lake, the campground features 6 campsites nestled in a mixed forest of aspen and sugar maple. Five of the sites offer scenic views of the lake, making this an ideal spot for campers who prioritize waterfront access. The campground is equipped with vault toilets, potable drinking water, and accessible picnic tables. A paved boat landing provides easy access to the lake for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding. Stevens Lake is known for its excellent year-round fishing, with walleye, northern pike, and panfish being the primary catches. Nearby recreation includes the Lauterman National Recreation Trail, which traverses hilly terrain and is popular for cross-country skiing in winter and mountain biking during warmer months. Site sizes range from 25 to 40 feet, accommodating small to medium-sized RVs and trailers.
