About
Split Rock Creek State Park Campground sits along the shores of Split Rock Lake in southwest Minnesota's Pipestone County. The campground features 34 drive-in sites tucked beneath mature shade trees along a paved campground road. Of these, 21 sites offer 50-amp electric hookups, while the remaining non-electric sites provide quieter, more secluded lakeside settings. The modern campground includes a heated shower building with flush toilets that operates seasonally, along with drinking water, trash collection, and a dump station for RV convenience. Each site comes equipped with a picnic table and fire ring with grill. A campground boat dock makes this an excellent base for fishing, particularly for families where parents can supervise young anglers from nearby campsites. Split Rock Lake is the only lake in Pipestone County, making this campground a unique regional destination. The park offers swimming, boating, hiking trails, and wildlife viewing. Reservations are available through the Minnesota DNR reservation system.
