About

South Navarre Campground sits at 6,400 feet elevation in a remote corner of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, offering a true backcountry experience for those willing to navigate the 35 miles of mostly dirt roads from Chelan. The campground features four primitive campsites served by three vault toilets, with no fees required for camping. This is a pack-it-in, pack-it-out destination with no potable water or garbage services available. Campers should come fully prepared with all necessary water and supplies. The remote location makes it ideal for solitude-seekers and serves as a base for exploring the surrounding trail network, including Safety Harbor Creek, Summer Blossom, and Summit Trail, which accommodate motorized trail bikes, mountain bikes, hikers, and stock animals.
