About

Poison Creek Campground is a primitive camping area located in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in Chelan County, Washington. Situated at an elevation of 5,571 feet between Fox Peak and Squaw Creek Ridge, this remote location offers backcountry access in the rugged terrain of the eastern Cascade Range. The campground is currently closed and when operational, provides only the most basic amenities. There is no water available on-site, so campers must bring all necessary water for drinking, cooking, and cleaning. A vault toilet is available for visitor use. The site sees light usage due to its remote location and primitive nature. This area is suited for experienced campers seeking solitude and self-sufficient backcountry experiences. The high elevation means the camping season is limited by snow, and access roads may be impassable during winter and early spring months. No fees are required for use of this site.
