About

Corral Creek Campground is a rustic boat-in only campground located on the south shore of Lake Chelan within the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Accessible only by watercraft from the Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park boat launch, the campground sits approximately 9 miles uplake at 1,140 feet elevation. The site offers basic amenities including 4 tent sites, 2 picnic tables, 2 fire rings, and 1 pit toilet, along with a floating dock that can accommodate up to six boats. The campground's location provides good protection from down-lake winds, making it a favorable spot for overnight boaters exploring Lake Chelan. No potable water is available on site, so visitors must bring their own water or be prepared to filter or treat water from the lake. Pack-out all trash as there are no garbage services. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. From May 1 through October 31, a Lake Chelan Federal Dock Site Permit is required for use of the floating dock. Permits cost $10 per day or $75 for the season and must be purchased in advance from authorized vendors in the Chelan area. The campground remains accessible year-round, though winter access depends on lake and weather conditions.

Directions

From Chelan, travel south on Highway 97A for 3 miles. Turn right onto Southshore Road and continue approximately 17 miles to Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park. From the park's boat launch, boat approximately 9 miles up-lake to the campground on the south shore.
