About
Santee State Park Campground sits along Lake Marion in South Carolina's renowned Santee Cooper Country, one of the top bass fishing destinations in the Southeast. The park offers two distinct camping areas: Cypress View Campground with 50 sites on the west side and Lakeshore Campground with 108 sites on the east side. Both campgrounds feature packed sand sites with individual water and electric hookups, picnic tables, and fire rings with grills. The campgrounds cater to both tent campers and RVers, with many sites accommodating rigs up to 40 feet. Facilities include restrooms with hot showers, a dump station, and WiFi throughout the park. A park store provides supplies, and kayak rentals are available through Whenever Watersports. The park also features an EV charging station. Beyond camping, Santee State Park offers fishing piers, nature trails, and 20 pier-based rental cabins over the lake. The park is open year-round from 6am to dark, making it a popular destination for anglers, paddlers, and nature enthusiasts visiting the Santee Cooper lakes region.
