About

Devils Fork State Park Campground sits on the shores of Lake Jocassee, a crystal-clear 7,500-acre mountain reservoir tucked into the Blue Ridge foothills of Oconee County. The lake's exceptional water clarity and largely undeveloped shoreline make it a premier destination for paddling, diving, and fishing for trophy trout and smallmouth bass. The main campground features 59 paved sites with water and 30-amp electric hookups, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring along with a 12x12-foot tent pad. Sites accommodate RVs up to 40 feet. A separate designated tent camping area offers 25 elevated walk-in pads with picnic tables and fire rings but no hookups. For a more remote experience, 25 boat-in backcountry sites line Lake Jocassee's northern shore at the base of Musterground Mountain. Facilities include restrooms with hot showers, a central dump station, trash and recycling service, and a laundry facility open March through November. The park also features 20 lakeside villas, boat rentals, two picnic shelters, and an EV charging station.
