This is a day-use pavilion area, not an overnight campground. The picnic shelter is currently available first-come, first-served. Hours are 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
About
South Abutment B is a day-use recreation area at Grenada Lake in Mississippi, managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The facility features North Outlet Pavilion 550, a group shelter with electric hookup that can accommodate up to 100 individuals. The pavilion overlooks Grenada Lake's Outlet Channel and provides an excellent location for fishing opportunities. This is a day-use only facility, not an overnight campground. Check-in is at 8:00 AM and checkout is at 10:00 PM. The pavilion is currently available on a first-come, first-served basis. A handicap-accessible restroom is located in close proximity. Nearby attractions include the Overlook, Main Beach, Lost Bluff Hiking Trail, a Class A Campground, and Dogwoods golf course. There are multiple fishing areas and playgrounds within a mile, plus two hiking trails nearby.
Directions
From I-55, take Exit 206 onto Highway 8 East. Travel approximately 6 miles, then turn left onto Hugh White State Park Road. Follow the park signs to the campground.
