About

North Graysport Campground is an Army Corps of Engineers facility located on the eastern end of Grenada Lake near Gore Springs, Mississippi. The campground sits on the land between the dual river pathways that create Grenada Lake's distinctive V-shape, fed by the Yalobusha and Skuna Rivers. With 50 campsites offering water, electric, and sewer hookups, the campground provides modern amenities including hot showers, a boat ramp, and an amphitheater. The campground's location offers a peaceful retreat far enough inland to avoid motorboat noise, yet close enough for convenient lake access. Grenada Lake spans 35,820 acres with approximately 148 miles of shoreline, providing excellent opportunities for fishing, boating, and swimming. Birding opportunities are abundant with waterfowl, bluebirds, and white-tailed deer commonly spotted in the area. Beyond the lake, visitors can explore baseball fields, fitness trails, golf courses, and tennis facilities. The nearby Visitor Center offers information about Grenada Lake, and the city of Grenada features historic Civil War sites including a Confederate fort built along the Mississippi Central Railroad. The campground is reservable through Recreation.gov and operates year-round at $14 per night.

Directions

Exit Interstate 55 on Highway 8 East for approximately 15 miles to flashing light at Gore Springs, turn left approximately 4 miles across the lake, follow the signs.
