About
Soda Springs Campground is located along Chiquito Creek near Mammoth Pool Reservoir in Sierra National Forest. The campground features sites on a large sandy flat with good shade, making it a pleasant base for exploring the Mammoth Pool area. Each site includes a table, grill, and fire ring. The campground provides vault toilets but no potable water, so campers must bring their own. Boat parking is not available at individual campsites, but boats can be stored at the launch area or at the nearby private Wagner's campground. The location offers access to fishing, boating, and hiking opportunities in the surrounding Sierra National Forest. Access is via Minarets Road (Forest Road 81), approximately 27.5 miles from North Fork. The maximum vehicle length is 20 feet, and the campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with a 14-day maximum stay limit.
Directions
From Fresno take Highway 41 north to Road 200. Turn right and travel east to North Fork. Continue through North Fork to Minarets Road (Forest Road 81) and travel 27.5 miles to the campground.
