Alcohol Prohibitions

This Order describes acts that are prohibited upon lands, roads and trails within the National Forest System administered by the Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region in regards to alcoholic beverages.

About

Silver Creek Campground is a small, primitive campground located in the remote northeastern corner of Washington within the Colville National Forest. The campground serves primarily as a trailhead for accessing the North Fork Silver Creek Trail #119 and South Fork Silver Creek Trail #123, which connect to the Abercrombie Mountain Trail #117 and the Pacific Northwest Trail. Facilities are basic, with vault toilets and picnic tables at campsites. A group campsite is also available. No potable water is provided; campers must filter or treat water from nearby Silver Creek or bring their own supply. Campfires are permitted only in developed fire rings. The campground offers excellent opportunities for day hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, horse camping, and horseback riding. A Washington state fishing license is required for fishing. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., and the maximum stay is 14 days.

Directions

From Colville, WA: Follow County Road 9435 (Aladdin Road) north for 23 miles and take County Road 9445 (Deep Lake Boundary Road) to Leadpoint. Turn east at Leadpoint and follow Forest Service Road 4720 (Silver Creek Road) to Road Junction 070. Follow Road 070 to the campground and trailhead.
