Alcohol Prohibitions

This Order describes acts that are prohibited upon lands, roads and trails within the National Forest System administered by the Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region in regards to alcoholic beverages.

Aquatic Invasive Species

Lake Leo Campground is a popular destination in the Colville National Forest, offering campers a peaceful retreat at a small fishing lake nestled in low wooded hills at 3,200 feet elevation. Located in Pend Oreille County approximately 28 miles east of Colville via WA-20 and Forest Road 506, the campground provides a variety of site options ranging from private spots with lake views to more sociable closer-together arrangements. The campground features vault toilets, potable water from faucets, picnic tables, and developed fire rings at each site. A boat launch provides access to Lake Leo for fishing (Washington state license required), swimming, canoeing, and motorized boating. The surrounding forest offers a serene atmosphere for a classic Pacific Northwest camping experience. Operated by a concessionaire, single sites cost $31 per night with double sites at $52 per night. Interagency Senior, Access, Golden Age, and Golden Access pass holders receive a 50% discount on single sites. Standard quiet hours apply from 10 PM to 6 AM, with a maximum stay of 14 consecutive days.

From Colville, WA: Head north on N Maple St toward E 2nd Ave for 0.1 miles. Turn right onto WA-20 E/E 3rd Ave and continue on WA-20 E for 28.8 miles to the campground.
