East Sullivan
The campground operates seasonally from mid-May through September 30. Reservations are available through Recreation.gov; some sites remain first-come, first-served. Maximum stay is 14 days. The boat launch remains open after the campground closes for the season.

Particulate matter (PM2.5) levels are expected to range in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups and Unhealthy categories. In Eastern Okanogan County near active wildfires, air quality may reach Very Unhealthy to Hazardous levels. When air quality is Unhealthy, everyone should reduce exposure. Limit time outside, avoid strenuous activity, and follow tips for cleaner indoor air.

About
East Sullivan Campground occupies the north end of Sullivan Lake, a 1,291-acre lake with depths reaching 320 feet, nestled beneath Hall Mountain in the Colville National Forest. The campground's 38 standard sites plus 7 walk-in sites are spread across shaded loops with dense forest providing privacy between sites. A separate group site near the boat ramp accommodates up to 40 people. The adjacent day-use area includes a boat ramp, swimming beach, picnic facilities, and trailhead access. A small airstrip adjacent to the campground sees occasional use by fly-in campers. Sullivan Lake offers excellent opportunities for boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing for burbot and kokanee salmon. The Lakeshore Trail, a 4.2-mile National Scenic Trail along the eastern shore, begins near the campground and is popular for day hikes. Hall Mountain Trail provides more strenuous hiking with panoramic views and seasonal wildflowers. The Salmo-Priest Wilderness is a 20-mile drive away for backcountry exploration. Nearby Metaline Falls offers historic charm and basic services. Crawford State Park features ranger-led tours of Gardner Cave during summer months. Seattle City Light provides tours of the Boundary Hydroelectric Project near the Canadian border.
Directions
From Spokane, drive 95 miles north. From the junction of State Highway 20, follow State Highway 31 north for 3 miles to Sullivan Lake Road (County Road 9345). Follow Sullivan Lake Road for 12.9 miles to Forest Road 22 (Sullivan Creek Road). Turn right and drive 0.25 mile to the campground entrance. From Metaline Falls, head northeast on State Highway 31 for 2.1 miles, turn right onto Sullivan Lake Road for 5.1 miles to the campground access.
