An Arctic front will sweep east across the region between 5 AM and 9 AM. A few hours of snow showers and west wind gusts of 35 to 40 mph will occur with the frontal passage. While any accumulations will generally be a half inch or less, some challenging travel conditions may develop given, rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities, strong wind and cold temperatures. These conditions will impact the morning commute. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

The Marina Activity Room at Shawnee State Park offers a convenient indoor rental space for groups visiting the Ohio River area of the park. Located within the marina facility at 4404 State Route 125, this activity room serves as a gathering space for events and meetings. The marina complex also features boat slips, gas and diesel sales, a public boat ramp, and access to Ohio River fishing. Groups using the activity room can take advantage of the nearby shelter house with charcoal grill or explore the two-mile walking and bike path that follows the Ohio River. The full-service Ohio River Campground with electric and full hookup sites is within walking distance. Note that the marina room is not ADA compliant.

From Portsmouth, Ohio, take US-52 west for approximately 10 miles. The entrance to Shawnee State Park Marina will be on your right.
