About

Two Point Group Campground sits above Lake Vesuvius in the Wayne National Forest, positioned between the beach and boat launch areas. This tent-only group site can accommodate up to 50 people with a maximum of 10 tents allowed. The campground features a 16' x 20' group picnic shelter with four picnic tables inside and three additional tables in the surrounding area. Facilities include six fire rings, four barbecue grills, vault toilets, and a water hydrant. Showers are accessible nearby, and a dump station is available within the Oak Hill campground complex. An amphitheater is located near the site, and horseshoe pits provide additional recreation. The campground is part of the larger Lake Vesuvius Recreation Area, which offers swimming at Big Bend Beach, fishing for bass, catfish, crappie and bluegill, hiking trails, and a boat ramp. Reservations must be made at least 4 days prior to arrival through Recreation.gov. The maximum stay is 14 days within any 30-day period. Campers should obtain firewood locally, as bringing outside firewood is prohibited to prevent invasive pest spread.
