The pavilion is open and available for reservations through Recreation.gov. One group shelter site with electric hookups is available for overnight camping.

About

Self Creek Pavilion sits on the shores of Lake Greeson with quick access from US Highway 70. Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, this covered group shelter primarily serves day-use gatherings but also offers one group campsite with electric hookups for overnight stays. The pavilion can accommodate up to 50 people and features multiple picnic tables, a large communal grill, individual pedestal grills, electric outlets, and a drinking fountain. Restroom facilities are within walking distance, and a playground is located near the pavilion for families with children. The Self Creek Boat Ramp provides convenient access to Lake Greeson, known for its excellent fishing opportunities including largemouth, smallmouth, striped, spotted, and white bass, as well as catfish, crappie, walleye, and bluegill. Reservations are made through Recreation.gov. Visitors must present their reservation confirmation if asked by ranger staff. Pets are allowed but must remain leashed at all times. All fires, including grills, must be completely extinguished before departure.
