Parker Creek Campground is an Army Corps of Engineers facility located on the scenic shores of Lake Greeson, a 12-mile-long reservoir on the Little Missouri River in Pike County, Arkansas. The campground features 60 total sites: 57 with electric hookups and 3 tent-only sites without electricity. Each campsite includes a picnic table, grill, and lantern pole. The campground provides hot showers in two bathhouse facilities, drinking water, a dump station, boat ramp with direct lake access, playground, and a swimming beach. A short nature trail within the campground offers opportunities for birding and nature observation. The surrounding landscape features loblolly pine, shortleaf pine, sweet gum, and oak trees, with bottomland hardwoods along the waterways. Lake Greeson is recognized for its diverse game fish population including largemouth, striped, spotted, smallmouth, and white bass, plus catfish, crappie, walleye, and bluegill. The tailwaters below the dam support rainbow trout and smallmouth bass. The lake's clear waters are ideal for water skiing, tubing, and cruising, with four marinas offering fuel, rentals, and supplies. The area includes 30 miles of trails for walking and cycling, and the adjacent Lake Greeson Wildlife Management Area provides hunting for deer, turkey, quail, and small game. Ouachita National Forest and Hot Springs National Park are within a two-hour drive.

Directions

From Texarkana, take Interstate 30 east for 46 miles to Prescott. Continue north on Highway 19 to Narrows Dam. After crossing the bridge over the Little Missouri River, proceed about 3 miles to the campground.
