About
Dam Area Pavilion is a large covered group day-use shelter situated within the Dam Area Campground on the scenic shores of Lake Greeson. This reservable facility is ideal for group gatherings, family reunions, and special events. The pavilion comes equipped with multiple picnic tables, a large grill for cooking, electric outlets for convenience, and a water spigot. Clean restrooms are located within easy walking distance of the pavilion.
The surrounding Dam Area Campground offers excellent recreational opportunities on Lake Greeson, a 7,000-acre U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reservoir on the Little Missouri River. Visitors can enjoy swimming at nearby beaches, boating from the adjacent Dam Area Boat Ramp near Swaha Marina, and fishing for the lake's diverse game fish including largemouth, smallmouth, striped, spotted, and white bass, as well as catfish. The cold, clear waters below Narrows Dam are stocked with trout by the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission.
Located in Pike County near Murfreesboro, the area provides convenient access to regional attractions including Crater of Diamonds State Park. The pavilion operates seasonally and is available for reservation through Recreation.gov.
