This is a day-use pavilion only; overnight camping is not permitted at this facility. The pavilion is currently closed for reservations. The adjacent Dam Area Campground offers overnight camping with 24 sites.
About
Dam Area Pavilion is a reservable group day-use shelter situated within the Dam Area recreation area on beautiful Lake Greeson in southwest Arkansas. The covered pavilion can accommodate up to 50 guests and is ideal for family gatherings, reunions, or group events. Amenities include several picnic tables, one large grill, electric outlets, and a water spigot. The pavilion sits in a scenic area overlooking Narrows Dam, the only all-concrete dam in the Vicksburg District. Swim beaches are accessible nearby, and restrooms are within walking distance. The Dam Area Boat Ramp near Swaha Marina provides convenient lake access for boating and fishing. Lake Greeson is renowned for its diverse game fish including largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, striped bass, spotted bass, white bass, catfish, black crappie, walleye, and bluegill. The clear waters also offer excellent opportunities for water skiing, tubing, and other watercraft activities.

From AR-27, turn left onto W 13th St. At the 4-way stop, turn right onto AR-19N. Continue approximately 6 miles, then turn right onto Dynamite Hill Rd.
