About

Sardis Cove sits on the shores of Sardis Lake, a 14,000-acre reservoir in the scenic Kiamichi Mountains of southeastern Oklahoma. Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the campground provides 45 campsites divided between two loops: the upper loop with 9 electric sites and the lower loop with 36 sites, 20 of which have electric hookups while 16 are primitive. The campground is well-equipped for both tent and RV camping, with restrooms featuring showers, vault toilets, a sanitary dump station, and pull-through sites. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Beyond camping, visitors have access to a boat ramp, designated swim beach, playground, and group shelter with picnic tables and grills. Sardis Lake is known for excellent fishing, producing record-breaking bass along with catfish and crappie. The surrounding Kiamichi Country offers hiking and wildlife viewing opportunities. The campground operates year-round with reservations available through Recreation.gov.
