About
Robinson Point sits on two peninsulas jutting into the 22,000-acre Norfork Lake in northern Arkansas, making it one of the most sought-after Corps of Engineers campgrounds in the region. The 102 campsites are positioned to maximize waterfront access, with many sites offering direct lake views. Each site comes equipped with electric hookups (30 or 50 amp options, some with water) and a covered picnic table providing shade. The campground offers modern conveniences including flush toilets, hot showers, potable water, and a sanitary dump station. Recreation options abound with a boat ramp for lake access, a designated swim beach, hiking trails, and a playground for families. The lake itself is popular for water skiing in the coves and sailing in open areas. Norfork Lake was formed by damming the North Fork River and cuts through the rugged, stream-carved Ozark Mountains. Nearby, the Ozark National Forest offers 1.2 million acres to explore, including Blanchard Springs Caverns, a living cave still actively forming. Reservations are handled through Recreation.gov with a $10 cancellation fee for changes made within 2 days of arrival.
