About

Gamaliel Campground is located on the Bennetts Bayou section of Norfork Lake in northern Arkansas. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers operates this 64-site campground, where most campsites are shaded by tall trees and equipped with 30- or 50-amp electric hookups and water connections. Some sites feature canopy-covered picnic tables for additional shade. The campground provides flush restrooms with hot-water showers, potable water, trash collection, and an RV dump station. Recreation opportunities include a boat ramp, swimming beach, marina, playground, and amphitheater. A mile-long nature trail loops from the campground through the surrounding Ozark terrain. Norfork Lake is carved through the Ozark Mountains and offers excellent fishing for striped bass, open-water sailing, and scuba diving that draws visitors from neighboring states. Nearby attractions include Bull Shoals Lake to the west and Ozark National Forest to the south.
