Bull Shoals-White River State Park is situated in northern Arkansas along the shores of both Bull Shoals Lake and the White River, offering visitors an exceptional camping experience in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. The campground features 109 sites including 63 Class AAA sites with water, 50-amp electric, and sewer hookups, 26 Class B sites with water and 30-amp electric, and 20 tent sites without hookups. Three Rent-An-RV sites are also available year-round for those without their own equipment. Famous for world-class trout fishing in the cold, clear waters below Bull Shoals Dam, the park attracts anglers from across the country. The riverside marina and store provide boat rentals, bait, tackle, and supplies, while canoe and kayak rentals offer access to the White River for fishing and paddling. Beyond fishing, visitors can explore multiple hiking trails and the Oakridge Mountain Bike Trail, participate in interpretive programs including campfire-cooking demonstrations and trout fishing workshops, or visit the impressive 15,744-square-foot James A. Gaston Visitor Center perched high above the dam with panoramic views. The campground operates year-round, though services are reduced during winter months. Restrooms with showers are available March through October. The marina operates with reduced hours in November and February, and closes December through January. Despite seasonal service reductions, the campground and picnic areas remain accessible throughout the year for hardy campers willing to bring their own facilities.

Located at 129 Bull Shoals Park, Lakeview, AR 72642. Ten miles north of Flippin along State Highway 178, and nine miles northwest of Mountain Home. The visitor center is at 153 Dam Overlook Lane, Bull Shoals, but camping access is at the separate camp area address.
