About
Panther Bay Park is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campground situated on Norfork Lake in the Ozark Mountains of north-central Arkansas. The park offers 15 campsites including 14 standard electric sites and one group shelter site, all equipped with 30-amp electric hookups, water connections, fire rings, and picnic tables. Facilities include restrooms with showers, vault toilets, a sanitary dump station, and drinking water.
The campground provides excellent lake access with two boat launch ramps directly into Norfork Lake, which covers 22,000 acres with 550 miles of shoreline. Additional recreational amenities include a swim beach, picnic shelter, and playground. Hiking trails in the area lead to picturesque overlooks of the Ozarks, and the Robinson Point National Recreation Trail is nearby.
Norfork Lake offers excellent fishing for bass, walleye, crappie, bream, and catfish, all fed by the North Fork River and its tributaries. The Ozark National Forest, spanning 1.2 million acres, lies just south of the lake.
