Red Meadow Lake Campground is a secluded primitive campground situated at 5,500 feet elevation in the Flathead National Forest of northwest Montana. The campground provides 3 campsites near Red Meadow Lake, offering a quiet backcountry experience for those seeking solitude. Basic facilities include a vault toilet, but no potable water is available. This free campground requires self-sufficiency. Campers must bring their own drinking water and pack out all trash. A food storage order is in effect throughout the area to protect both campers and wildlife. The 16-day stay limit applies. Access to the campground is via County Road 486, traveling 41 miles north of Columbia Falls, then 11 miles west on Forest Service Road 115.
