Red Bridge Campground is located on the eastern shore of the Kinzua Arm of the Allegheny Reservoir in northwest Pennsylvania, within the nearly half-million-acre Allegheny National Forest. The campground is well wooded with mature black cherry, hemlock, and birch trees and sits along the Longhouse Scenic Byway, a 29-mile loop circling the reservoir. The campground offers 65 single sites including tent-only sites, electric sites, and full hookup sites with electric, water, and sewer connections. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, and tent pad. Premium sites near the reservoir offer waterfront or water-view locations. Three rental cabins are also available. Amenities include hot water showers, both flush and vault toilets, pressurized drinking water fountains, and a trailer dump station. Firewood and ice can be purchased from the camp host. Recreation options include swimming, bank fishing at the adjacent Red Bridge Bank Fishing Area, and a nearby boat launch. The North Country National Scenic Trail crosses State Route 321 just one-eighth mile south of the campground, providing access to nearly 100 miles of trail through the Allegheny National Forest.

Directions

From Warren, PA, take PA-59 southeast. Turn right onto Longhouse Scenic Drive (Forest Road 262), then turn left onto State Highway 321 and continue to the campground on your left. From Kane, take PA-321 North, cross the Kinzua Arm on the big bridge, and the campground will be on your left just past Red Bridge Bank Fishing.
