About

Kiasutha Campground sits on forested hills along the Longhouse Scenic Byway, overlooking the Kinzua Arm of the Allegheny Reservoir. The Kinzua Arm is narrower and more sheltered than the main reservoir, providing calmer waters for boating and swimming. The campground offers 96 family campsites: 6 tent-only sites and 90 RV sites, including 12 with electric hookups and 12 with full hookups (electric, water, sewer). Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, and tent pad on paved loop roads. Facilities include flush toilets, hot showers, potable water from faucets and pressurized fountains, a dump station, and an amphitheater. A large grassy beach with 900-person capacity provides swimming access, while a two-lane concrete boat launch and 130-foot courtesy dock serve boaters. A paved trail leads to an accessible fishing pier. Firewood and ice are available for purchase, and 24-hour campground attendants are on duty. The campground provides access to multiple hiking trails winding through the surrounding hardwood forest of black cherry and maple. The Kinzua Dam and Kinzua Bridge are nearby attractions. Campsites 29-90 and loop roads have undergone reconstruction, with some unpaved sections remaining.
