About
Rainy Creek Campground is a small, primitive campground in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, situated about 10 miles from Lake Wenatchee at 2,100 feet elevation. Managed by the Wenatchee River Ranger District, this lightly-used campground provides a peaceful base for exploring the Little Wenatchee River drainage and surrounding forest lands. The campground offers basic facilities including vault toilets, but campers must bring their own drinking water as no potable water is available on site. Trailers up to 30 feet can be accommodated. The remote location off Forest Road 6701 (Rainy Creek Road) provides a quiet setting away from more crowded recreation areas near Lake Wenatchee.
Directions
From Leavenworth, travel west on Highway 2 for 15.1 miles to Coles Corner. Turn right onto Highway 207 N and travel 10.5 miles. Continue onto Little Wenatchee River Road for 6.1 miles. Turn left on Forest Road 6701 (Rainy Creek Road) and go about 1 mile to the campground on the right.
