About
Grasshopper Meadows Campground sits at 2,000 feet elevation along the scenic White River, approximately 10 miles from Lake Wenatchee in Washington's Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. The campground provides direct river access for fishing and relaxation in a forested mountain setting. This is a basic, no-fee campground with minimal amenities. Vault toilets are available, but there is no potable water, so campers must bring their own supply. The site sees light usage, making it a good option for those seeking solitude. Trailers are permitted up to 30 feet in length. Access is via White River Road (Forest Road 6400), which can be subject to seasonal closures due to snow and road conditions in early season. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservation system.
