Frances Slocum State Park campground offers 100 campsites in a 1,035-acre park setting in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. The campground includes 85 tent or trailer sites, some with electric hookups and ADA accessibility, plus 15 walk-in tent sites for additional privacy. Each site features a picnic table and fire ring. The park's centerpiece is a 165-acre horseshoe-shaped lake popular for boating and fishing, surrounded by hiking and mountain biking trails. Modern amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, drinking water, and a sanitary dump station. The campground operates from mid-April to mid-October, with environmental education programs offered at the amphitheater from Memorial Day through Labor Day. An organized group tenting area can accommodate up to 40 people. The park is located five miles from Dallas and ten miles from Wilkes-Barre, accessible via I-81 and PA 309.

From Exit 170B of I-81, take PA 309 north 7.2 miles. Turn right onto Carverton Road and drive 4.2 miles. Turn left on West 8th Street and drive 1.3 miles. Turn left onto Mt. Olivet Road and drive one mile to the park entrance on the left.
