Ricketts Glen State Park campground features 120 modern tent and trailer sites spread across multiple loops in northeastern Pennsylvania. The campground offers a variety of site types including electric hookups, non-electric sites, full-hookup sites, and pull-through options, all situated on gravel parking spurs with natural shade. Modern restroom facilities provide hot showers and flush toilets, and a sanitary dump station serves RV campers. Several ADA accessible campsites are available. The campground's main loop operates from April through December, while a smaller number of sites remain open year-round for winter camping enthusiasts. Five deluxe cottages within the campground area are available from mid-April to mid-October. An amphitheater provides space for interpretive programs during the camping season. Ricketts Glen State Park is renowned for its Falls Trail system, which showcases 22 named waterfalls along Kitchen Creek as it descends through the Glens Natural Area. The park encompasses 13,000 acres of diverse habitats including old growth forests, natural wetlands, and Lake Jean. From the campground, visitors can access hiking trails, fishing opportunities, and the park's beach area.

Directions

Ricketts Glen State Park is located 30 miles north of Bloomsburg on PA 487. From the town of Red Rock, take PA 487 north to the park entrance. Note that the section of PA 487 from Red Rock to the Lake Jean area is steep; heavy trailers should approach from the north via PA 487 south from Dushore.
