About

Gouldsboro State Park is a 2,800-acre day-use park in northeastern Pennsylvania's Pocono region, straddling Monroe and Wayne counties. The 250-acre Gouldsboro Lake serves as the park's centerpiece, offering excellent warm water fishing for bass, pickerel, perch, and panfish, along with boat rentals and a launch ramp with electric motors permitted. The park features a sand swimming beach with rustic restrooms open from Memorial Day weekend through mid-September. Five wooded picnic areas provide tables and charcoal grills, and an ADA-accessible pavilion near Lot #3 includes electricity. Hiking and mountain biking trails wind through the forested terrain, with wildlife watching opportunities throughout. Important: Gouldsboro State Park does not have overnight camping facilities. The only reservable facility is a day-use picnic pavilion. For overnight camping in the area, Tobyhanna State Park Campground is located nearby and offers tent and RV sites with electric hookups.
