About
Round Lake State Park occupies a forested setting in Bonner County, Idaho, about 10 miles south of Sandpoint. The 58-acre lake is surrounded by towering pine, hemlock, and larch trees, with ospreys and Canada geese commonly observed. The campground provides a mix of 35 standard tent/RV sites and 16 serviced sites with water and electric hookups.
The park features modern amenities including flush restrooms and showers in two locations, a dump station, central drinking water, and a camp store selling firewood. Each site has a fire ring and charcoal grill. The lake allows electric motors only and offers a boat launch, dock, kayak/canoe/SUP rentals, and a swimming beach.
Maximum trailer length is 24 feet, making this campground better suited for smaller rigs and tent campers. Pets are allowed on a 6-foot leash but prohibited on the beach and left dock. Two ADA-accessible campsites are available.
Directions
From Sandpoint, head south on US-95 for approximately 10 miles. Turn west on Dufort Road and follow signs to the park at 1880 Dufort Road, Sagle, ID 83860.
