WHERE...Douglas, Jefferson, Denver, western Arapahoe, western Adams, Broomfield, Boulder, Larimer, and Weld Counties WHEN...400 PM Monday June 15 to 400 PM Tuesday June 16 IMPACTS...Ozone Action Day Alert is now in effect for the Front Range Urban Corridor. Although ozone will remain in the Good to Moderate range on Monday, higher ozone levels in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups category will be possible Tuesday afternoon and evening. St. Vrain State Park provides a peaceful outdoor getaway on Colorado's Front Range, featuring 689 acres of land and 228 acres of water spread across 14 fishing ponds. The park offers unobstructed views of Longs Peak and the Continental Divide, making it a scenic basecamp for camping, fishing, bird-watching, and photography. The campground consists of 87 sites across eight distinct campgrounds situated along the shores of seven ponds at the park's eastern end. Sites range from basic tent camping to electrical and full-hookup RV sites. Each campsite includes a fire ring and picnic table. Facilities include coin-operated showers, flush restrooms, and a dump station. Three ADA-accessible campsites are available. The park features 7 miles of nature trails around 10 ponds, a boat ramp at Blue Heron Reservoir, and 20 picnic sites. Two electric vehicle charging stations are available. Day-use hours run from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

From I-25, take Exit 240 (Highway 119) east toward Longmont. Turn south on Weld County Road 7, then east on Weld County Road 24 1/2 to the park entrance at 3785 Weld County Road 24 1/2, Firestone, CO 80504.
