About

St. Vrain State Park provides a peaceful outdoor getaway on Colorado's Front Range, featuring 689 acres of land and 228 acres of water spread across 14 fishing ponds. The park offers unobstructed views of Longs Peak and the Continental Divide, making it a scenic basecamp for camping, fishing, bird-watching, and photography. The campground consists of 87 sites across eight distinct campgrounds situated along the shores of seven ponds at the park's eastern end. Sites range from basic tent camping to electrical and full-hookup RV sites. Each campsite includes a fire ring and picnic table. Facilities include coin-operated showers, flush restrooms, and a dump station. Three ADA-accessible campsites are available. The park features 7 miles of nature trails around 10 ponds, a boat ramp at Blue Heron Reservoir, and 20 picnic sites. Two electric vehicle charging stations are available. Day-use hours run from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
