About

Quosatana Campground is located along the famously mighty Wild and Scenic Rogue River in the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. Spread across 15 acres on a large river bar, the campground offers 43 campsites including 3 accessible sites, all with picnic tables and fire pits. The setting features beautiful myrtlewood groves and large meadows that provide ample space for recreation and relaxation along the river. The campground serves as an excellent base for river activities, with a boat launch providing access to the Rogue River and a fish cleaning station for anglers. Shore and boat fishing are popular activities, as the campground is situated at Quosatana Riffle. A day use area with a mowed play area provides space for families and groups. The campground typically has a host on-site, with firewood available for purchase. Facilities include flushing toilets, drinking water, and garbage disposal. The dump station is temporarily closed due to needed repairs to the wastewater system. From Gold Beach, the campground is accessible via County Road 595 and Forest Road 33, approximately 14 miles east. The Gold Beach Ranger District manages the site, which operates year-round with a 14-day maximum stay limit.
