About

Lobster Creek Campground is set in the forest on a large gravel bar along the Wild and Scenic Rogue River, approximately 10 miles east of Gold Beach. The campground offers 7 sites including 3 tent sites and 4 tent/trailer sites, all equipped with picnic tables and fire pits. The gravel bar provides excellent day-use opportunities for fishing and picnicking along the river. The facility includes two restroom buildings with flush toilets, potable water, and garbage disposal. A campground host is typically available during the operating season. Firewood can be purchased at the host site. A boat launch provides river access for anglers and boaters exploring the Rogue River. The campground serves as a base for enjoying the Rogue River's world-class fishing, wildlife viewing, and scenic beauty. The site is located along County Road 595 and Forest Road 33, providing relatively easy access compared to more remote national forest campgrounds. With moderate use levels and a peaceful forest setting, Lobster Creek offers an ideal retreat for campers seeking a riverside experience on one of Oregon's most famous waterways.
