About
Lobster Creek Campground is a small, forested campground situated on a large gravel bar fronting the Wild and Scenic Lower Rogue River. Located about 10 miles east of Gold Beach in the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest, it offers 7 campsites with picnic tables and fire pits: 3 designated for tents only and 4 accommodating tents or trailers. The campground provides a boat launch for direct river access, making it a convenient base for anglers and rafters exploring the Rogue. A gravel bar adjacent to the campground serves as a day-use area for fishing or picnicking. Facilities include two restroom buildings with flushing toilets, potable water, and garbage disposal. A campground host is on site with firewood available for purchase. All sites are first-come, first-served with no advance reservations. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., and dogs must remain leashed. Fireworks and OHV/ATV use are prohibited within the campground.
