About

Quechee State Park Campground is located along US Route 4 in Hartford, Vermont, positioned near the dramatic 165-foot-deep Quechee Gorge, often called Vermont's Little Grand Canyon. The wooded campground offers a mix of 40 tent/RV sites, 3 tent-only sites, 7 lean-tos, and 6 electric cabins, making it suitable for a variety of camping styles. Two modern restroom buildings serve the campground with flush toilets, hot and cold running water, and coin-operated hot showers. A sanitary dump station is available for RVs, though no hookups are provided at individual sites except for the cabins which have electric service. Every site includes a fire ring and picnic table, and campers have access to trash disposal, Wi-Fi, ice, and firewood for purchase. The park's main attraction is the Quechee Gorge Trail, which offers stunning views and leads down to the gorge floor. Additional recreation includes fishing access, disc golf, horseshoe pits, and a volleyball court. The campground's proximity to Upper Valley attractions like Woodstock and the Simon Pearce glassblowing facility makes it a popular tourist destination.
