About

Preston Valley Campground is nestled along the Logan River in scenic Logan Canyon at an elevation of 5,500 feet within the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. Located just 10.5 miles east of Logan, Utah, this riverside campground offers 9 single sites, each accommodating up to 8 people with a picnic table and fire ring. The campground features flush restrooms and dumpsters for trash disposal. Note that no potable water is available on site, so campers must bring all water needed for their stay. This is bear country, so proper food and trash storage is required. Gate hours are 7am to 10pm, with quiet hours from 10pm to 6am. The area appeals particularly to fly fishing enthusiasts, with excellent river access right from the campground. Other popular activities include tubing on the Logan River, hiking local trails, scenic drives through Logan Canyon, mountain biking on designated trails, and wildlife viewing and birdwatching.
