About

Preston Valley Campground is located in scenic Logan Canyon at an elevation of 5,500 feet, situated on the banks of the Logan River just 10.5 miles east of Logan, Utah. This riverside location provides a pleasant background of river sounds for a relaxing stay. The campground features 9 single sites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. This scenic area particularly appeals to fly fishing enthusiasts with direct access to the Logan River. Other popular activities include tubing, wildlife viewing and birdwatching, hiking area trails, scenic driving along the canyon road, and mountain biking on designated trails. The campground is operated by a concessionaire and offers flush restroom facilities and potable water during the operating season. The campground has a maximum occupancy of 8 people per site and includes amenities such as trash service. Gates open at 7am and close at 10pm, with quiet hours from 10pm to 6am. Reservations through Recreation.gov require booking at least 5 days in advance, with a 2-night minimum stay on weekends and 3-night minimum on holiday weekends.

Directions

From Logan, Utah, drive east on US-89 for approximately 10.5 miles into Logan Canyon. The campground is located on the left side of the road, adjacent to the Logan River.
