About

Card Guard Station is a historic Forest Service guard station cabin that dates back to the 1930s, part of the early guard station network where stations were typically spaced a day's horseback ride apart. Located approximately seven miles up Logan Canyon along the Logan Canyon National Scenic Byway in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, this renovated cabin offers visitors a unique opportunity to stay in an authentic piece of Forest Service history. The cabin is part of the Forest Service's overnight cabin rental program and provides a comfortable base for exploring Logan Canyon and the surrounding Cache County wilderness. The guard station sits adjacent to the scenic byway, offering convenient access while maintaining a peaceful mountain setting.
