Chokecherry Picnic Area is a riverside day-use facility located in scenic Logan Canyon at an elevation of 5,400 feet. Situated on the banks of the Logan River just 10.1 miles east of Logan, the picnic area provides a peaceful setting where the sounds of the river create a pleasant backdrop for outdoor recreation. The facility offers 4 single picnic sites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. Vault restroom facilities are available on-site. The picnic area's location directly on the Logan River provides excellent access for fishing, tubing, and canoeing. The surrounding area features numerous hiking and mountain biking trails that crisscross the canyon. Gates open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 10:00 p.m., with a maximum occupancy of 8 people per site. A $10 day-use fee is collected on-site.
