About

Card Picnic Area is a day-use facility situated on the banks of the Logan River, just 9.4 miles east of Logan, Utah, in scenic Logan Canyon. The area offers 4 single picnic sites that overlook the river, providing excellent access to fishing areas along the Logan River. Visitors can enjoy fishing, tubing, and canoeing opportunities, with numerous hiking and mountain biking trails crisscrossing the surrounding area. The picnic area is shaded by willow trees planted by early pioneers along the original Logan Canyon road. Vault restrooms are available on-site. Each site is equipped with standard picnic amenities, and the maximum occupancy is 8 people per single site. Gates open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 10:00 p.m. The facility charges a $10 day-use fee per vehicle (includes tow vehicle) collected on-site. Reservations can be made through Recreation.gov. Dogs are permitted but must be leashed (6-foot maximum) and limited to two per site. Off-road vehicles are not allowed in the canyon, and amplified music is prohibited.
